Support Technical Executives by coordinating the shift technical team and assisting in maintenance activities. Communicate line status updates to Engineering and Production teams. Lead technical support planning, manage the duty roster, and act as the main contact during breakdowns. Ensure maintenance is completed as scheduled and contribute to RCA sessions and improvement initiatives. Handle escalations and support the implementation of OWOW (FSS) and other related programs.

This position will be located in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Malaysia.
What We Ask
- A Degree in Engineering (any discipline) or a Diploma with extensive relevant experience.
- 4–6 years of relevant working experience, preferably with Tetra Pak or SIG machines.
- Candidates with a Diploma must have significant experience in the food industry and in managing maintenance teams (more than 15 years).
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Good command of both English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Knowledge of process and automation systems is an added advantage.

- Year Plan / Budget
- Translate the overall plant strategy into an annual plan and budget for the Corrective Maintenance team, and obtain necessary approvals.
- Responsible for the Corrective Maintenance plant budget.
- Ensure optimal planning of processes and personnel, including implementation of corrective actions.
- Serve as a behavioral role model, particularly in areas of Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.
- Demonstrate accountability, results orientation, and proactive decision-making.
- Empower team members to generate solutions and make decisions independently.
- Foster a ‘Zero Loss’ mindset within the team.
- Lead, coach, and motivate colleagues through active listening, involvement, constructive feedback, and recognition of performance.
- Take a leadership role in developing team capabilities by facilitating on-the-job learning and managing the training matrix.

- Act as a change manager, ensuring two-way communication and engagement with the team.
- Maintain an optimal balance of fixed and flexible staffing to ensure operational flexibility.
- Participate in improvement initiatives such as Continuous Improvement (CI), cost-saving projects, UDM rollout, Engineering support, RCA, and Preventive Maintenance optimization.
- Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT), and train and develop new employees.
- Organize technical training programs to ensure compliance with training plans (e.g., GMP, HACCP), enhance staff competency, and improve productivity.
- Coordinate and supervise team activities, allocating personnel to operational processes in compliance with Q&SHE guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including other departments and Shift Managers.
- Ensure efficient and effective operation of processes and equipment, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and ensure appropriate sourcing of resources.
- Delegate responsibilities and issue assignments accordingly.
- Identify and escalate critical maintenance needs as required.
- Maintain awareness of key safety and quality control procedures and ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Coordinate closely with the Production Team regarding equipment issues and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in engineering principles and strong knowledge in Food Hygiene & Safety, HACCP, GMP, 5S, Continuous Improvement, dairy manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Ensure standard work practices are followed; analyze current work processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements for implementation upon approval.
- Conduct proactive audits of processes.
- Promote and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize and standardize production operations, creating a culture focused on improvement and innovation.
- Support and troubleshoot breakdowns in collaboration with Technical Specialists and Technical Executives.
- Ensure issues are resolved before handing over the line to production.
- Escalate unresolved or prolonged issues as per the Escalation Matrix.
- Plan, lead, and execute Corrective Maintenance (including Weekly Care) and Improvement Maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams or external suppliers to complete maintenance work as required.
- Provide comprehensive updates to the Production Team and Technical Leadership Team upon job completion.
- Escalate any issues identified during corrective maintenance to superiors promptly and request support where needed.
- Prepare progress reports on the Preventive Maintenance Plan using SAP; summarize and present findings monthly at the Quality Review Meeting.
- Perform post-maintenance observations and proactively propose performance improvement suggestions.
