ENGR I, PROCESS / MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING

Job Description

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Section Manager of Process Engineering, this position is responsible to support wire bond process. The Senior Process Engineer is responsible on providing technical leadership, support, and training to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with equipment technician to improve equipment stability.
• Optimizes process parameters, quality and yield improvement efforts.
• Sustain process PFMEA and control plan
• Review and involve on root cause analysis and 8D closure with process engineering team
• Creates and maintains detailed technical process documentation including work instructions.
• Implements advances on metrology and inspection techniques.
• Works closely with Operations, Engineering, and vendors.
• Knowledge of project management and planning skills.
• Manages equipment, process optimization qualifications.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant industrial experience in the semiconductor manufacturing sector:
• Candidates with a diploma are typically expected to have around 5 years of experience.
• Candidates with a degree may have up to 2 years of experience.
• Experience in process design, process optimization, and/or production support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate skills in other MS Office tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic engineering and manufacturing environment.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
• Demonstrated ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve issues with creative and effective solutions.
