Executive, Crew Controller

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES
1. Supervision of Flight and Cabin Crew rosters on a day to day basis to ensure correct crew complement, monitoring of crew pairing rotation and legality of operations.
2. Allocation of duties to crew members in accordance with the Flight Time Limitations (FTL) Scheme.
3. Confirming all accommodation and transport requirements as booked by Roster Planning and amending as required for the published roster.
4. Identification of problems and providing recommendation with regard to forward planning of standby coverage, duty blocks
5. Answering crew related enquiries. Advising other stations of crew allocation changes or as appropriate.
6. Anticipation and coordination of required changes to the flying program including liaison with other departments where necessary. Includes advising other stations of crew allocation changes as appropriate for the situation.
7. Preparing the hotel booking where required for posting for ad hoc crew to the outstations.
8. Managing day to day disruptions to the flying schedule of the airline.
Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience:
1. A minimum of One year of experience in the aviation industry or a Degree related to aviation. (Preferred)
a) Familiarity with AIMS software will be an advantage.
b) Experience in the operations department will be an advantage.
c) Knowledge of Crew flight and duty time limitations is preferable.
2. Proficient in the English language( written and oral).
3. High school education cleared or higher (High level of Maths proficiency preferred).
4. Good knowledge of Google suites(Google Sheets especially).
5. Must be willing to work in shifts.
6. A positive attitude with a team spirit is important.
