About The Job

You will perform service work on equipment that is located at a customer site, and you should have insight in the entire value chain from Sales Lead (the first customer contact) until the time when the machine will be de-commissioned and scrapped - the full life cycle.

Job Description

  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of Alfa Laval equipment i.e. decanters and separators for the Crude Palm Oil industry
  • Commissioning including checking of equipment installation, training of operators in equipment operation, maintenance and safety.
  • Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
  • Perform repair inspection and prepare repair reports.
  • Conduct test trials including process performance

What You Know

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering with equivalent experience in similar field and industry.
  • At least 3 years’ working experience
  • Preferably with good analytical and report writing skills
  • High degree of initiative
  • Willing to standby/work during weekends/public holidays.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision in a dynamic environment
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively (est. 50% - 70%)
  • An excellent team player and team builder. Ethical and trustworthy.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and own transport.
