Finance Analyst – Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting business decision-making. Your responsibilities include:

• Month-End Close & Reporting
• Execute month-end GL closing activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, including judgmental provisions, accruals, and standard journals.
• Perform analytical reviews of P&L and balance sheet, including variance analysis (actual vs. forecast/budget) with business insights.
• Balance Sheet & Controls
• Review and prepare balance sheet reconciliations, driving resolution of open items.
• Execute internal controls in line with the Haleon Internal Control Framework.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with Controllership, Customer Service & Logistics, Supply Chain, Stat & Tax teams to ensure smooth month-end processes.
• Respond to internal and external stakeholder queries in a timely and proactive manner.
• Process Improvement
• Support global initiatives to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience in internal control environments and multinational settings, preferably in commercial and shared service centers.
• Commercial mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficient in Excel (including advanced formulas); experience with SAP and Power BI is preferred.
• Degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable team player.
• Ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
