Finance Business Partner Specialist (B2C)

Job Description

In this role at CelcomDigi, you will be responsible in bridging finance and business functions, supporting them in providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making to drive business performance.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for business performance monitoring and provide insightful analysis to ease decision-making in commercial activities including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Business case evaluations : guide & review business cases to assess financial feasibility and risk mitigation.
• Post mortem analysis : compare business case assumptions with actual outcomes to ascertain spend effectiveness and maximize output of investment(s) for future adoption.
• Review key marketing strategies and activities for the business units to ensure coherence and alignment with our corporate ambition.
• Strong collaboration and coordination with business units to successfully align financial strategies with business goals & growth objectives including communication of complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner.
• Operational excellence and optimize performance costs for business units.
• Ensure adherance & governanc to financial regulations & internal policies.
• IP management to mitigate financial risks ie overspending
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field with at least 8 years experience in telecommunications industry
• Experienced in business & revenue intelligence including performance review and insights in a consumer-facing business within telecommunications industry will be an added advantage.
• Advances proficiency in financial analysis techniques, tools and systems (eg SAP, Oracle) or other financial reporting software.
• Intermediate Excel skills for data modeling and data visualization tools (eg, SQL, Power Bi)
• Strong analytic skills especially in critical thinking in order to identify key issues, propose practical solutions and data interpretation by drawing actionable insights from data and financial reports.
• Have strong financial acumen in order to logically analyze, interpret financial reports in order to review concept papers, business cases and business initiatives.
• Familiarity with financial management software and advanced proficiency in amongst others, Excel and Power point for creating insightful dashboards and presentations to management.
• Possess a passion to understanding customers behavior, lifecycle and revenue drivers in this telecommunications industry & era of digital technology
