Job Responsibility
Job DescriptionÂ ï· Lead, supervise, and develop the Finance team covering AR, AP, and GL to ensure smooth daily operations.Â ï· Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Â ï· Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and Bursa Malaysia requirements. ï· Manage quarterly financial reporting and Annual Report to Bursa Malaysia.Â ï· Review and ensure timely submission of statutory returns, including tax filings, SST, Einvoice and other regulatory requirements. ï· Monitor cash flow, working capital, and manage banking relationships.Â ï· Develop and implement effective financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.Â ï· Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.Â ï· Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to assist management in strategic decision-making.Â ï· Provide financial analysis and insights to support business plans and operational improvements.Â ï· Ensure compliance with relevant financial and corporate governance standards.Â ï· Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy. ï· Assume and carry out ad-hoc accounting projects or assignments.Â
Job Requirements
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:Â ï· A Bachelor Degree in AccountancyÂ ï· Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred.Â ï· Minimum of 5â8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 1 years in a managerial capacity.Â ï· Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements.Â ï· Solid experience in full-spectrum finance functions, including AR, AP, and GL.Â ï· Hands-on experience in preparing consolidated accounts.Â ï· Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.Â ï· Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.Â ï· Meticulous, analytical, and able to work under tight deadlines.
