Finance Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Degree in accountancy or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent)
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience with in-depth knowledge of accounting policies and procedures.
3. Possess strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax requirements.
4. Able to work independently.
5. Proactive, meticulous and strong sense of responsibility.
6. A member of MIA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review monthly, quarterly and yearly management reports
• To ensure financial reports comply with accounting standards and policies
• To ensure all monthly reconciliations and analysis standards and policies
• Cash flow planning and management
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Tax Planning, review of tax computation
• Review and computation of stock costing
• Monitor collection from debtors and payments to creditors
• Implementation of accounting system
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, solicitors and bankers
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant authorities
• Ensure timely submission of the company’s management report for preparation of the Group’s consolidation financial statements
• Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance
• Preparation of the Board and Board’s Committee reporting pack
• Oversees the finance function of the Group
• Liaison with the subsidiaries to ensure that there is prudent financial management and that they maintain necessary facilities with the banks
• Liaison with banks to ensure that facilities required by the Group are sufficient and that the facilities are competitively priced
• Consolidation of the Group’s budget for management reporting
