Job Description
- Oversee finance and accounting staff to ensure that they are suitably motivated and developed, and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards
- Prepare the yearly operating budget for the company to ensure that all financial objectives are fulfilled and that all financial and legislative regulations are complied with
- Manage performance against budget, highlighting concerns and opportunities, liaise with stakeholders to ensure concerns are being communicated and addressed
- Review monthly management accounts, financial statements, and any other financial reports, ensuring timely submission and compliance with relevant governing rules, standards and requirement
- Assist in accounting, tax and financial reporting matters and technical advisory
- Liaise with auditors and assist in managing the audit process for the companies
- Develop good relationships with external parties, e.g., solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations
- Correspond with other departments, discussing corporate strategies and deciding on future directions
- Manage and oversee the finance and accounts for multiple companies/subsidiaries
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
- Degree in Accountancy and/ or ACCA/CPA qualified.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in public listed companies
- Acquire knowledge in taxation
- Certified MIA
- Able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, effectively both as an individual and team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to multi-task and good MS office skills, especially Excel and experience with SAGE system
