Finance Manager (Group Reporting/Consolidation/Corporate Finance) Bursa Listed

Our client is Bursa Main Board Listed.

Group Accountant/Finance Manager/Financial Controller (Group Reporting/Consolidation/Corporate Finance). Position offered will depend on experience and qualification

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The roles and responsibilities of the above position will be as follows: -

1. Responsible for full spectrum of finance, accounting and tax matters including:
   1. Preparing financial reports including group consolidation accounts which are in
      compliance with statutory and Bursa listing requirements.
   2. Preparing timely and accurate management reports for Management information and
      decision making.
   3. Preparing and monitoring company budgets.
   4. Cash flow monitoring and planning including treasury matters.
   5. Product costing.
   6. Tax compliance and regulatory matters including tax planning.
   7. Developing finance policies and procedures and ensuring the processes are effective
      and in line with best practice.
   8. Leading financial and internal audits.
2. Collaborate with the Corporate Finance Division on matters including but not limited to:
   1. Optimizing/streamlining finance processes.
   2. Prepare and monitor group budgets and business plan.
   3. Fund raising initiatives.
   4. Evaluate and monitoring investments.
3. Assist with company secretarial matters, regulatory and compliance matters as required.
4. Assist on corporate governance, risk management and internal controls matters as required.
5. Manage the use to the group’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
6. Coach, guide and enhance finance team by providing leadership and mentoring.
7. Manage and perform any ad-hoc tasks/ projects that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Candidate preferably a Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant/Certified Management
   Accountant. Audit and group reporting experience of public listed companies will be an advantage.
2. Professional Experience:
   1. A background in manufacturing or/and estate/plantation industries would be an added advantage although this criterion is not mandatory
   2. Ability to excel in a fast paced environment, with exposure to broad business issues and
      demonstrated analytical capability;
   3. Able to adopt a hands-on approach and meet tight deadlines;
   4. Experience with taxation, dealing with external auditors, statutory reporting is essential;
   5. Experience with listed companies is preferable; and
   6. Experience with optimizing/implementing changes in processes within companies is
      preferable;
