Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operations Executive to join our LCL Finance Operations team for the Southeast Asia region. This role focuses on managing financial operations related to sea freight (FCL, LCL, MOF) across inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Manage billing processes for assigned clients (e.g., RB) for all sea freight shipments (FCL, LCL, MOF) within Southeast Asia.
  • Utilize the global rate card to update operational systems (CargoWise), ensuring accurate cost and revenue entries, and timely issuance of invoices to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly customer reports.
  • Monitor and ensure achievement of KPIs for the business unit, supporting strong performance across Logistics & Services (L&S).
  • Ensure strict compliance with IOPs, SOPs, and KPIs, while maintaining cost-effective and smooth operations.
  • Drive process efficiency by improving complaint resolution timelines, challenging existing business rules, and enhancing end-to-end service delivery.
  • Propose viable alternative solutions and resolve customer complaints within defined timeframes.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with relevant regulations and local policies.
  • Minimize cost of non-conformance by turning challenging situations into positive customer experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, Procurement, and the LCL Product team.
  • Understand and manage customer expectations, delivering a high standard of professional service.
  • Handle system updates and customer requests in line with established processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates of all relevant revenue and cost data in systems, and ensure all applicable charges are billed to customers.

We’re looking for

  • Approximately 2 years of experience in accounting (accounts payable/receivable).
  • Prior experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CargoWise (CW1) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with external clients in English.
