Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards to present findings.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial modeling for new projects, investments, and business scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support audit and compliance processes by ensuring data accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience (2-5 years) as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.

Added advantage:

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools).
• Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and other regulatory standards.
