GL Accountant

As a GL Accountant, you will need to ensure accurate accounting for all transactions booked in the location’s books. Making and reversing accruals as required to reflect the operations of the company

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of applicable VAT, Tax and other statutory returns including annual accounts
• Manage the analysis of accounts according to business requirements
• Handle Month end closing journals
• Able to work independently on improving efficiency and streamlining finance process flow.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies and statutory requirements.
• Preparation of account / balance sheet reconciliations in line with corporate guidelines
• Knowledge of US & Local GAAP Statutory requirements
• Other ad-hoc requests as vital
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree desired, or associate’s degree plus relevant work experience or overall equivalent work experience
• Interpersonal skills; communication, analytical skills, Microsoft Office, Accounting System experience
• Minimum 4 years’ accounting experiences
• Working experience with MNC or public listed company
• Able to speak and read in Chinese and English
• Inventive and a phenomenal teammate with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and ambitious environment!
