What will you do?

We are looking for a Go To Market Activation Manager (Trade) who is responsible in planning and strategize the Trade promotional plans for Lancome for both MYSG. Acting as a cross-functional role to oversee the overall Trade plan in Omni channels to drive growth and contribute to meet sales target for Lancome. And assisting daily trade operational needs and brand management that support the productivity and growth of the cluster team.

You Are Expected To Manage The Following

Retailer Activation & Trade Promotion:

  • Develop, plan and execute trade promotions across all channels to achieve sales objectives. Ensure these promotions are in tandem with stock & trade budget availability.
  • Responsible in steering with other internal stakeholders to develop Trade master plan across all channels and ensuring that all activations are planned and executed on timely manner
  • To provide key retailers with key brand campaign necessities, and retailer communication plan, in close liaison with marketing team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions and in-store promotions to determine whether these meet Brand’s objectives and make recommendations for future promotions
  • Compile and follow-through monthly trade activation plan to be shared across internal stakeholders and Go-to-Market team.
  • Gate keep key launch essentials ( launch info, price, NIF etc) for DS.com & Sephora (online & offline) as well as other retailers.
  • Reacts on business opportunities and challenges to maximize selling opportunities, keeping brand identity

Sampling, Promotional Gift-ability

  • Annual sampling planning
  • Execute of Sampling strategy and quantities
  • Promotional gifting planning and allocation
  • Budget Tracking

GWP and Local Sets

  • Communicate with Product Managers to align 360 plans on
  • Define retailer processes and guidelines with KAM’s
  • Plan GWP activations with Product Manager + Retail
  • Coordinate with sub-contractor to produce local BOM sets
  • Communicate with key project contacts to avoid any roadblocks and delays (escalating to Cluster team)

Activation Content

  • Manage, oversee and approve retailer content creation/ localisation for all activations (including Retailer requests)
  • Digital retail content with brand and retailer collaboration campaigns.

Reporting and Performance Tracking

  • Own reporting on brand activations across all sales channels, retrieving insight and sharing with cluster team
  • Contact point between Marketing team and Retail team

Stakeholder Collaboration, You Will Be Working Closely With

  • GTM Retail Team
  • Internal Marketing team
  • Supply chain & demand planning team on sample planning
  • Retailer request & deliverables with MYSG KAMs
  • Work on Retailer presentation & reviews

Who are we looking for?

  • A true Team player, minimum 4 years of working experience, preferably in FMCG/Beauty Industry
  • Collaborative organized and detail oriented. Good time management to meet retailer deadlines and able to prioritize tasks with sound understanding on business importance vs urgencies.
  • Strong and effective communication and relationship-building skills, together with a resilient character
  • Marketing savvy, with the ability to take shopper and market insights all the way through activation
  • Creative, with an eye for design, attention to detail along with sensitivity to metier
  • Process-driven and with excellent project and time management skills
  • Confident and enthusiastic, innovation driven
  • Practical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Experienced working as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive and assertive, able to prioritize and thrives in fast paced environment, demonstrating ability to drive projects to completion
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and able to work with numbers
