Job Description

• Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with business objectives
• Ensure reliability and availability of all plant equipment and utilities through preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Oversee capital projects, including installation of new lines, automation upgrades, and facility expansions
• Drive initiatives to reduce downtime, improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and optimize energy consumption
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, food safety, and environmental requirements
• Manage engineering budgets, including maintenance costs and capital expenditure
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
• Work closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams to support operational goals
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Engineering Head Should Have

• A degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven leadership and management capabilities in the FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes within the FMCG industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage projects and deliver results within deadlines.
• Familiarity with TPM and LEAN to drive continuous improvements
• Good understanding of safety and quality standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
