Job Description

• 1. Role Outline
• Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Finance is accountable for accurate reporting of
  
  
  

financial results and managing the Company's financial affairs.

• Responsibilities
• Establish a robust mechanism for quarterly forecasting of financial performance against AOP targets, to
  
  
  

capture all risks and opportunities in an integrated fashion to update targets on year-end performance

• Managing the financial reporting, includes monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5 year financial plans/budgets and all statutory financial reporting.
• Provide detailed analysis of actual financial results on a monthly basis versus Forecast and AOP targets,
  
  
  

performing root-cause analysis and synthesizing this analysis into actionable guidance back to KPI owners

for mitigation or exploitation of risks and opportunities

• Managing the taxation affairs and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice.
• Managing the cash flow abd ensuring proper and appropriate treasury controls.
• Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards in Malaysia.
• Overseeing financial systems
• Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Financial and Management Accounting functions.
• Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and
  
  
  

tax information.

• Responsible to update all formal finance related policies and procedures.
• Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff in the Finance Department.
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 7- 10 years' experience and has led a finance team of at least 5 people
• Preferably with professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or its equivalent
• Excellent leadership skills and able to motivate and develops others;
• Aggressive, visionary and willing to take calculated risk for dynamic business growth;
• Attentive to details, alert and capable of identifying business growth & cost saving opportunity as well as process improvement alternative;
• Strong understanding of latest accounting standard;
• Strong reporting and organizational skills.
• Adept in SAP
