The social media specialist will be responsible for managing and executing social media marketing strategies and campaigns for the Company. The primary role is to develop engaging content, optimise the Company's social channels, grow the brand's online presence, and interact with the target audience on various social media platforms. This position needs to have the expertise in social media marketing and analytics and experience in driving customer engagement, facebook traffic, and revenue growth., amongst other things.


Job Description

  • Develop and implement social media strategies: Create and execute social media plans in alignment with the company's marketing objectives. Identify target audience segments and determine the most effective platforms and content types to reach them.
  • Content creation and management: Create compelling and high-quality content for social media channels, including written posts, images, videos, and infographics. Ensure consistency in the Company's brand messaging and maintain a consistent brand voice across all social media platforms.
  • Community management: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms. Engage with the audience, build relationships, and encourage discussions around the brand. Resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Social media advertising: Develop and execute paid social media campaigns to increase brand visibility, reach, and engagement. Carry out audience targeting, ad creation, budget management, and performance tracking across Facebook and YouTube platforms.
  • Analytics and reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics, such as engagement, reach, click-through rates. Use data insights to optimize strategies, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Prepare regular reports showcasing key performance indicators and campaign results to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Research and recommend new platforms, tools, techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance social media marketing efforts.
  • Collaboration and coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, and business development, to align social media activities with overall marketing initiatives.
  • Brand monitoring and reputation management: Monitor online conversations and mentions of the brand, products, or services.
  • Respond to feedback, address customer concerns, and manage online reputation to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Any other duties as assigned


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven work experience as a social media specialist or similar role.
  • Familiar with design tools needed for content, graphic and video creation and editing.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and advertising platforms. Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data to drive insights and improvements.
