Head of Market Access (Pharma)

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and sustainable market access for innovative biopharmaceutical products. You will lead a high-performing team to develop and implement robust market access strategies, negotiate with key stakeholders, and drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies aligned with the company's global and local business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare payers, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups.
• Lead negotiations with payers to secure optimal reimbursement and pricing for products.
• Oversee the HTA process, including the development of dossiers and engagement with HTA agencies.
• Manage a team of market access professionals and oversee day-to-day operations, including budget management and performance tracking.
• Monitor and analyze healthcare policies and regulations to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
• Develop and implement patient support programs to ensure equitable access to therapies.
• data analytics to inform strategic decisions and measure the impact of market access initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Economics, Health Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in market access in the pharmaceutical industry,
• In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian healthcare system, reimbursement policies, and regulatory landscape.
• Proven track record of successful market access negotiations and launches.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
