Hookup Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Tool hookup design and the execution;
• Creation and maintenance of equipment books/ cards;
• Performing of capacity vs demand analysis;
• Carry out the following tasks (but not limited to):
  • Pressure-drop calculations and line sizing;
  • System configuration and sizing;
  • Creation of PFDs and P&IDs;
  • Creation and updating of tender documents (specifications, BOM/ BOQ, scope descriptions, …);
  • Creation and updating of TUM;
  • Component selection based on given requirements;
• Obtaining the resources and assess resources at the stages of project execution;
• Assembling and briefing of the project team;
• Ensuring the confidentiality;
• Commissioning of the partial project and work packages;
• Monitoring the project process and organization of milestones;
• Reporting to clients and project manager or management;
• Monitor the use of resources and verification of consumption;
• Commissioning and ensuring the project controlling;
• Creating scenarios for project risks;
• Monitor the execution of plans and tasks during the project execution;
• Define quality requirements;
• Develop project plans;
• Evaluate the necessary labor costs for the project;
• Evaluate the work done by the subcontractors;
• Evaluate the quality of the work done;
• Develop technical documentation for the project execution;
• Prepare the reports on risks impact on the project.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Chemical or equivalent.
• Preferably at least 5 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry or as M&E consultant or in the chemical industry with strong understanding of project planning, project management functions, document handling function;
• Tool install or tool hookup design experience;
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Tool hookup design process and it’s execution;
• Identification and labelling standards;
• Pressure-drop calculation software like AFT Fathom, Fluidflow or Pipeflow;
• Chemical supply systems and it’s components;
• Particle measurement, He-Leak test, pressure test and trace metal analysis;
• BIM or 3D design software is an advantage
