Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Manage workforce planning to ensure the organization has the right talent to meet current and future business needs.
- Payroll Management
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with finance and other departments to manage payroll in a timely manner.
- Address any payroll-related queries or issues from employees.
- Liaise with statutory bodies include EPF, SOCSO, HRDC and IRB for any issue incurred.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Administer employee compensation and benefits programs.
- Manage benefits enrollment and provide guidance to employees on available options.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to manage the competitiveness of compensation packages.
- IR/ER (Industrial Relations/Employee Relations):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters.
- Manage disciplinary actions, grievances, and other employee issues in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and manage training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Coordinate employee development initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and online courses.
- Monitor training effectiveness and manage adjustments as necessary.
- Others
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related matters with distributor companies.
- Attend Committee for Operational Excellence meetings to provide verification and assistance from an HR perspective.
- Attend Committee for Talent Management meetings to provide verification and assistance from an HR perspective.
- Coordinate and manage Human Resources Planning Committee (HRPC) meetings with the management team, addressing various HR-related aspects, including preparing proposals and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- At least 6 years of experience in HR roles, with 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, compensation, employee relations, performance management, and training.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations. (Employment Act & Industrial Relation Act)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
