Job description
About the Job
We are looking for you who is specialised in food production, quality, food safety, efficiency and range presentation to ensure our guests enjoy a tasty meal every time they visit the IKEA store. You also actively share your specialist knowledge with your colleagues.
Your Assignment
Your tasks will include:
- Actively contributing to a safety first culture.
- Ensuring efficiency in operations and that routines and requirements are known by your colleagues and
- Being passionate about the food range and actively learning about its content, origins, preparation and
- Presenting the width and depth of the IKEA food range in order to inspire guests.
- Acting quickly on commercial opportunities and customer feedback.
- Understanding and contributing to your department’s action plans, and supporting the goals and targets
Qualification
- You have experience in handling cash registers in the food services industry.
- You demonstrate excellent customer service, a sales driven, and feel motivated to work in a vibrant retail environment.
- You are passionate about food and people.
- You are flexible and open, curious and eager to learn. You enjoy working together with other people.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and organize individual work duties to make the most efficient use of time available.
- You take pride in how you serve our range to customers and want to give them a tasty reason to return again and again.
- Able to work on weekends, shift hours, and Public holidays.
