Purpose of role:
Innovation Manager will be responsible for the efficient management, driving and tracking of all new product development projects, establishing best practice in the product development process and communication with stakeholders on projects status and issues by working actively and closely with Brand Team and RA to deliver innovation based on consumers insight, trend, market environment and regulations
Responsibilities include:
- Manage strategic innovation plan through Blackmores' new product development process, including project network meetings.
- Ideation on product development cycle including existing product development, new product development pipeline pool
- Develop project leadership within a multi-functional team (e.g., regulation team, finance and supply chain team) to drive the development of new products for the local market.
- Partner with the global marketing team and innovation delivery management team, translating technical topics to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the Blackmore Malaysia Leadership Team for the innovation pipeline over the next 3-5 years.
- Work with the brand and category team to conceptualize new products, ensuring they align with a competitive 6Ps strategy in Malaysia market.
- Thrive for best practice on project timelines, key milestones, and risk mitigation planning.
- Stay in the forefront of innovations and trends analysis for strategic market assessment and competitor analysis
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising or any related discipline
- 5 years’ experience working in project management experience in FMCG industry
- Ability to translate and communicate technical topics to both technical and non-technical people
- Experience in Working with Audience Data
- A sense of independence to work individually and as a team player, and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Passion for growth in business and a proven track record in generating, leading and converting opportunities
