Intern, Finance

AirAsia X Berhad is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Accounting & Finance team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the aviation industry while developing skills in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in financial reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Accounts payable and receivable: Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

Data entry and reconciliation: Input financial data into accounting systems accurately. Reconcile discrepancies in financial records and bank statements.

Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenses.

Support audit processes: Prepare documentation and assist auditors during internal and external audits.

Financial analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Assist in identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.

Ad hoc projects: Assist the Accounting & Finance team with various ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Prior internship or relevant experience is a plus.
