GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, GEESM has grown into a key hub of our global operations. It now services commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories.

Role Overview

  • As an Engineering Intern, you will have hands on experience and be involved in day-to-day operations
  • Learn Engine Shop Manuals and Interpret Defect types
  • Support Engine Part Inspection and prepare defect reports
  • Support Material Review Board and Identify Cost out Projects
  • Extract and Analyze data from ERP Systems using excel and Identify Cost Out Projects.

Ideal Candidate

  • The ideal candidate is an undergrad who can commit to a 12 to 24 Weeks internship so as to maximize the learning opportunity and allow for in-depth hands on experiences.

Required Qualification

  • Engineering internships: Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace and Materials Engineering
  • You will need to be an undergraduate in a school based in Malaysia
  • You will need to be able to commit to a minimum internship period of 12 to 24 Weeks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS office suites (office, word, excel) and knowledge Excel VBA and in any programming, languages will be advantageous
  • Good time management and strong organizational skills, with ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn
  • Quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed
  • Strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative
  • Analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
