YOUR ROLE AS A RECRUITMENT INTERNSHIP

This role is to offer a holistic experience across People Development, focusing on Recruitment, Content, Communications and Event Planning (Employer Branding), and Learning & Development (L&D) support. The intern will gain hands-on experience in managing key talent initiatives and external communications effectively.


WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Assist senior recruiters in screening candidates, specifically focusing on Intern profiles for any positions

  • Support and manage recruitment for Executive to Senior Executive level positions for assigned roles (where applicable based on potentiality)

  • Facilitate a positive candidate experience by collaborating and guiding candidates for face-to-face interviews at RedQ to the interview areas

  • Support recruiters by compiling one-page data summaries for external events

  • Participate in career fairs and related events as required (extra manpower)

  • Compile a list of hot jobs from recruiters across the Group and AOCs level and coordinate with the Employer Branding (EB) team to advertise these jobs on LinkedIn monthly

  • Assist in creating engaging content to enhance awareness of the AirAsia brand

  • Assist in crafting and preparing the writing for the AirAsia Newsletter monthly

  • Coordinate with the EB team to set up or arrange necessary logistics for events (e.g., company/university visits)

  • Support Outclass and Coursera communications by drafting content, creating visual assets on Canva for monthly highlights, and campaign posts.

  • Assist in managing Coursera leaderboard data and preparing the final leaderboard visuals for posting.


WHO YOU ARE:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication both verbal and written in English with interpersonal and presentational skills

  • Familiarise with Google Suites, Canva or other basic graphic design tools for content creation

  • Highly organized, meticulous, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

  • Professional and personable demeanor for effective interaction with candidates, recruiters, the Employer Branding (EB) team, and management

  • Strong focus on accuracy, particularly when compiling data summaries

  • Able to adapt and be proactive in a fast-paced, changing work environment

  • Can travel to work at AirAsia Head Office (RedQ) in Sepang on week days
