What will you do?
- Analyzing vendor master data in ERP systems like SAP Ariba to ensure all data are unique, accurate, and compliant.
- Collaborating with team members to identify and implement improvements in the P2P workflow, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
- Investigates outstanding aging items and work collaboratively with vendors and business users to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the development/changes in systems, transactions and processes. This includes preparing and updating process documentation and process improvement initiative.
- Provide support to team lead and team members in activities to enhance the effectiveness of the team.
- Providing language and communication support in Japanese for team lead. (advantageous)
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire procure-to-pay process.
- Developing practical skills in transactional processes within finance and procurement.
- Learning the importance of adhering to company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Gaining experience with industry-standard procurement and finance software.
- Enhancing collaboration skills by working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Obtaining exposure in communications within the Finance sphere, as well as knowledge in business Japanese language, corporate culture and etiquettes.
- A lively interest in Procure to Pay process, the commercial world and the biopharma industry
- A basic understanding of accounting concepts and procedures is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills that help you influence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel is necessary for data analysis, reporting, and financial tracking within the P2P process.
- The ability to analyze large datasets to identify bottlenecks, optimize spending, and forecast procurement needs is essential.
- Understand and experience the GSK Culture
- Work with a diversified team of professionals
- Implement technical knowledge and skills that you have acquired at school
- Apply and develop soft skills such as interpersonal, communications and negotiation skills
- Transport to and from office to Asia Jaya LRT stations
