IT Business Analyst - Supply Chain Planning

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

As an IT Business Analyst, you act as the bridge between Business counterparts and Global IT. You will be providing professional advice on incidents and are responsible for transferring business requirements into implementations for solutions. You will contribute to build digital solutions in our application landscape, which combines mobile applications, cloud-based solutions and a backend based on our ERP solutions.

The IT Business Analyst role allows you to own a specific topic of our unique solution stacks, its professional operation, and the transfer of customer needs into new product features. You will transfer new business requirements into value adding and sustainable solutions. You will get to collaborate with the product manager and product owner to define requirements as well as partner with technical staff to develop convincing solution alternatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an IT Business Analyst in Demand and Supply Management IT team you design, implement, and run sophisticated digital solutions for Hilti’s supply chain. Our solution portfolio consists of state-of-the-art cloud systems like Blue Yonder S&OP, SAP Ariba, SAP ByDesign as well as global on-premises SAP S/4HANA ERP and SAP APO systems. As an IT Business Analyst, you will shape the Supply Chain Planning global system landscape of the future. Our organization embarked on an exciting journey selecting the next global solution provider for our Supply Chain Planning processes. We provide professional advice to logistics business partners, and you are responsible for translating existing and new business requirements into value-adding future IT solutions. In an agile approach you are collaborating with business product owners and partner with developers to elaborate convincing solution alternatives. WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration with Cumulative Grade Point Average &gt; 3.0 or similar grading
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in IT – ideally in Supply Chain Management (e.g. SAP APO, SAP Ariba, SAP ECC, S4Hana)
• Proven IT experience with state-of-the-art Supply Chain Planning solutions (e.g. SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, o9, etc.) is a must-have.
• Willingness to work closely with business counterparts and good stakeholder management &amp; communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player approach with the ability to connect with global partners to bond, inspire, influence and accomplish goals
• An end-to-end process understanding in the field of supply chain management and in particular supply chain planning.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
