Job Responsibility
- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.
- Document issues and solutions in the helpdesk knowledge base
- Assist with IT asset inventory and procurement.
- Provide support for remote users and mobile devices.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.
- Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Associateâs or Bachelorâs Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
