Java Developer
Job Responsibilities:
- Development of MQHRs’ HCMS software suite.
- Responsible for Java application development to support business objectives.
- To support and maintain existing software product in line with predefined service levels.
- Ensure modifications and development of the software meets defined requirements and are in compliance with quality controls including but not limited to code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Pro-actively communicate with Business Analyst / Implementors to clarify the user requirements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to the system.
- To develop enterprise-scale applications in accordance with Company standards, procedures, and methodology.
- Assist team lead and manager closely in preparing all unit test cases and system test cases.
- Work closely with the Support / Customer Service team for post-implementation support.
Job Requirement:
- Must possess at least Diploma, Degree Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Required skills in Java, Python, J2EE, MSQL and SQL Language, Hibernate, Web 3.0 & Web 4.0 Technologies.
- Preferred skills in Tomcat webserver, LDAP Server, Linux/Unix.
- Understanding of IP networking, including the ability to analyse network behaviour, performance and application issues using standards tools like tcpdump/ ethereal/ wireshark.
- A keen technology trend followers and able to propose how these emerging technologies can be adapted in project.
