Junior Account (Work From Home)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Account to join our growing team at HOW 2 DESIGN'. This is a full-time role, with the opportunity to work from home. As a Junior Account, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting and bookkeeping operations, helping to ensure the financial records and processes of our company are maintained to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Performing daily bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable management
• Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations to increase efficiency

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a junior or entry-level accounting or bookkeeping role
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Familiarity with Johor Bahru's accounting practices and regulations
