Junior Contracts Executive

Job Descriptions:

• Assist in basic contract tasks such as valuation, measurement, and taking-off during pre and post-contract stages.
• Prepare and review contract documents.
• Assist in tender processes, including preparing tender documents and sourcing quotations and pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain necessary clarifications and further information on materials pricing and commercial terms.
• Prepare progress claims, sub-contractor payments, and final accounts.
• Monitor and manage material usage and requirements.
• Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather quotations and ensure competitive pricing.
• Conduct site visits for valuation and measurement.
• Liaise with project personnel to address circumstances that may lead to Extensions of Time (EOT), Variations Orders (VO), and changes in working conditions from those specified in the contract.
• Coordinate with contractors and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in the preparation of contract documents.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Building Management or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed or candidates with 1 - 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Engineering costing, budgeting & control of cost.
• Able to communicate & coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, construction team, and sub-contractors.
• Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia, additional language is a plus.
• Must be willing to work at Seksyen 15, Shah Alam.
• Full-time position (s) available.
