Junior IT Developer

We are looking for a skilled software developer to join our team and support our global finance applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role:

• Providing comprehensive support for our global finance applications, including coding, testing, and technical design.
• Building strong relationships with application owners, team members, and stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
• Developing a deep understanding of our finance applications, including code design, business processes, and data flow.
• Evaluating the effort required to deliver business change requests and developing solution proposals.
• Delivering high-quality solutions within the agreed timeline and scope, with minimal disruption to existing processes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all implemented changes and investigation results.
• Providing daily operational and technical support to application owners, users, and team members on complex technical issues.
• Identifying the root cause of problems or issues, providing investigation findings, and recommending solutions.
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering is required or any equivalent relevant field.
• Have at least one year of experience in IT, with a focus on software development using languages like PL/SQL, SQL, C#.Net, or ASP.Net is required. Experience with Python and Java script is optional, but may be an advantage.
• Proven experience in the software development lifecycle, with strong skills in problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, attention to detail, and analytical thinking, is required to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills are also required to work with stakeholders from different departments, ensuring that requirements are clear and results are delivered as expected.
  
  

Note: 1-year renewable contract under 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to the partner company.
