Position: Key Account Executive

Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor

Responsibilities:

Key Account Management:

  • Establish commercial relationships with modern trade retailer (Local Key Accounts)/ Pharmacy Channel
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans which includes setting sales targets, identifying growth opportunities, and outlining strategies to achieve.
  • Lead Trading Term Negotiation including pricing, ullage, terms of trade, promotions, and other contractual matters to ensure customer profitability.
  • Drive effective channel strategies and range strategies to maximize and optimize profitably and reduce variability in line with market goals.
  • Plan & communicate activity execution to sales reps to ensure its execution at store level
  • Builds a retailer specific development plan, and a compelling story to get retailer buying in.
  • Build a deep customer intelligence and strong network with key stakeholders at the retailers.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues or challenges that may arise during the client relationship.

Promotion Planning & Execution:

  • Prepare Trade Promotional Plan (TPP) and post promotion evaluation.
  • Communicate to customer on promotion planned to get alignment/agreement to proceed with the execution.
  • Manage to minimize Market return.

Business Review & Market Visit:

  • Regular Trade visit to check & audit in store execution at the outlets level.
  • Pre-plan visit to Customers in HQ level. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer.
  • Understand their business needs and objectives and market landscape. (Customer profiling)

Sales Operations:

  • Responsible for topline numbers in central region as well as the chain handled while ensuring profitability and cost of promotion targets are met
  • Ensure speed to market as well as execution excellence on monthly basis while managing a team of sales rep & merchandisers
  • Ensuring collection as per TTA and claims is done periodically

Requirements:

  • High energy and able to multitask with good project management skills and effective communication skills to drive business development while running the day in day out operational details of key accounts.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and operate independently with ambiguity.
  • A team player that is able to work across departments and teams internally and externally as well as handle a direct reporting team of sales reps and merchandisers with multiple years of experience & also new hires.
  • Must be organized, detailed oriented, computer proficient, good negotiator that is able to problem solve and able to take ownership of the responsibility of the account.
  • Proactive and able to travel and be hands on to react on changing circumstances and plan for team improvement and expansion.
  • Must be competent in Excel & PowerPoint.

Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Sales or Account Management, preferably in categories of personal care & skincare products.
  • Preferably with sound people or team management skills.
  • Experience in trade marketing an added advantage.
