About the Role:

Our company is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with experience in maintaining Linux servers and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software development and IT operations, as well as a thorough understanding of security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using common CI/CD tools, e.g. Laravel Envoyer, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines

- Manage and maintain Ubuntu Linux servers in cloud environments

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and security best practices

- Implement and manage security controls throughout the software development lifecycle

- Monitor and respond to security incidents

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevSecOps and cloud security

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- More than 5 years of experience as a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineer

- Experience with Jenkins or other common continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools

- Proficiency in Ubuntu Linux server administration and troubleshooting

- Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud environments

- Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, etc.)

- Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
