Job Description

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field or its equivalents with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in Electronics Industry Production field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish, review, implement and maintain Lean methodologies to increase throughput, reduce excess inventory and reduce operating cost.
  • Do ' whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy.
  • Establish and maintain Lean programs. Develop/review/maintain Lean training package. Develop/maintain and implement Lean core projects like 5S, TPM etc.
  • Train all employees on Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Participate in productivity improvement and costs savings projects.
  • To stay up to date on latest developments and trends in Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Derive Continual Improvement program & activity among SGAs & Kaizen team.
  • Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
  • Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
  • Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Clean room and Housekeeping guidelines.

  • Passionate towards Kaizen (i.e. continuous Improvements activity) (Enthusiasm).
  • Possess at least Six Sigma Green BELT certification.
  • Must be a Gemba-Gembutsu-Genjitsu which means (The Shop Floor- The Actual Product-The Fact) experts (Accountability).
  • In depth knowledge on Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Able to plot VSM by process steps and calculate Velocity Ratio (VR).
  • Work close with Industrial Engineering (IE) team to Identify bottle neck process & tackle the constraint.
  • Core task to calculate project cost saving that impact the operation cost.
  • Work closely with finance team on project cost saving declaration, acceptance & approval process.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills to work with plantwide cross functional team (Collaboration).
  • Good training skills; able to conduct training for DLs, Non-exempt & Exempt staff. Preferably with Train The Trainer (TTT) certification. (Respect).
  • Well-versed with 6S, 7QC Tools, FMEA, 8 LEAN Waste, Root Cause Analysis, KANBAN, Poka Yoke, TAKT Time, JIT, SMART, TPM, OEE, PDCA, Process mapping, PMP, KPIV & KPOV. (Integrity).
  • Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time & etc...

Working Conditions

  • This role is 100% onsite / hybrid / remote
  • Must be a Gemba-Gembutsu-Genjitsu which means (The Shop Floor- The Actual Product-The Fact) experts.
  • In depth knowledge on Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Able to plot VSM by process steps and calculate Velocity Ratio (VR).
  • Good training skills.
  • Well-versed with 6S, 7QC Tools, FMEA, 8 LEAN Waste analysis, Root cause Analysis, DMAIC & PDCA approach, Production KANBAN, Poka Yoke, TAKT Time, JIT, SMART, TPM, OEE, Process Mapping, PMP, KPIV & KPOV.
