As LOA & ICFR Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing our internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and Limits of Authority (LOA) processes. Your insights will help us maintain transparency and compliance across the organisation.

As LOA & ICFR Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing our internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and Limits of Authority (LOA) processes. Your insights will help us maintain transparency and compliance across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Implement and undertake required ICFR activities such as scoping, risk assessment, test planning, direct testing, issue management and remediation to meet the program's objectives
- Design and provide advisory on controls to support process/control owners in strengthening business processes and controls having financial statement impact
- Perform appropriate planning; communicate with process owners, control owners and other relevant stakeholders on testing strategy, testing calendar, deficiency evaluation and control weaknesses as well as reporting to CelcomDigi Management.
- Monitor operational effectiveness of all key controls to support financial close and reporting processes.
- Coordinate the execution of ICFR testing and conduct quality review on test results
- Support and assist with the delivery of ICFR program according to ICFR framework requirements for control design and ensure integration of ICFR activities with financial close and reporting processes
- Governance of CelcomDigi LOA with yearly review and documentation of Delegation of Authority (DOA)
- Support division representatives on LOA related queries and ensure compliance to the LOA principles
- Undertake other assignment or special projects, as requested by management and/or Board Audit Committee (BAC) to ensure continued effectiveness and efficiency of all internal controls over financial reporting.
- An independent person who can undertake tasks and deliverables to meet established reporting timeline
- Fast learner, results oriented and resourceful in delivering results and self motivated to follow up on resolution of items
- Detail oriented to evaluate audit documentation and reporting
- Good analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
- While being independent, able to work in a team environment to solve problems and drive continuous improvement
- Adaptive, flexible and open to learning new processes, regulations, and tools
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent in a related field. A professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 3-4 years relevant experience in financial reporting, internal audit, SOX regime or similar capacity
- Knowledge of local accounting standards, as well as local tax laws and statutory requirements
- Experience in risk assessment and identification of risk mitigation activities will be an added advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with management, peers, auditors and cross functional group
- Strong analytical, organisational, project management and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate (familiar with Microsoft Office applications)
- Telecommunication knowledge will be added advantage
