Get To Know The Role
- Partner Relationship Management:
- Identify, onboard, and build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing channeling partners..
- Maintain regular communication, understand partner needs, and provide necessary support to ensure their success in loan origination and disbursement.
- Keep partners engaged and motivated through incentives, recognition, and training.
- Manage end-to-end interaction with partners, including due diligence, approval processes, reporting, and problem-solving to secure larger monthly disbursement volumes.
- Sales Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase loan channeling volume through partners.
- Set realistic sales targets for partners, aligning them with the company's overall lending goals.
- Develop comprehensive sales plans tailored to each partner's strengths and market conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product development, operations, risk, finance) to ensure seamless loan processing, compliance, and support for partners.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis:
- Continuously monitor the performance of channeling partners, tracking loan disbursement figures, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the loan channeling process.
- Training and Development:
- Ensure partners are well-versed in the company's loan products, services, and policies.
- Organize training sessions and provide educational materials to partners, covering product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
- Conflict Resolution and Problem Solving:
- Identify and resolve conflicts between the bank and its partners, actively listening to concerns and finding mutually beneficial solutions.
- Streamline issue escalation and gather support from relevant stakeholders to maintain partners' confidence levels.
- Market Research and Product Alignment:
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings in the loan channeling space.
- Provide market and analytical insights to the business, influencing strategic decisions and identifying new opportunities.
- Proactively engage with partners to align product design with channel and client needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/related field.
- At least 3 years of hand-on experience in credit processing within Financial services.
- Good communication skills in English and BM; additional language is a plus.
- Proven ability to write compelling credit proposals in English
- In-depth knowledge of banking products and services, with strong interpersonal skills to engage across all levels.
- Highly motivated, sales driven and willing to travel.
- Relationship Management: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with external partners.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proficient in sales techniques, target setting, and negotiating terms beneficial for both the company and its partners.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand market trends, identify opportunities, and develop long-term plans that align with business objectives.
