We're Hiring: Logistic Manager!
Our client is leading automotive brand with operations globally. In Malaysia, they are a leading automotive manufacturer with strong retail network and CKD Manufacturing plant. Due to the rapid business expansion, they are seeking an experienced Logistic Manager to oversee their logistic department located in their Shah Alam manufacturing plant. This is a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods, materials, and resources to support the company's manufacturing and distribution activities.
Location: Shah Alam, Malaysia
Work Mode: Work From Office
Role: Logistic Manager
What You'll Do
Oversee and coordinate import and export activities, including liaising with customs and freight forwarders to ensure smooth and compliant container arrivals and clearances.
Control and monitor customer orders and inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, availability, and cost efficiency.
Manage warehouse, transportation, and inventory functions to support production requirements and customer deliveries.
Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to secure favorable terms and seamless service delivery.
Monitor logistics and production KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvement plans for cost, speed, and quality.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, industry standards, and company policies for all logistics and planning activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production and Quality) to align planning and logistics with overall business goals.
Mentor and guide the logistics and planning team to enhance skills and drive operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics, production planning, or supply chain management, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of customs procedures, container handling, and import/export documentation
Hands-on experience in production planning, order control, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Proficiency in logistics and planning software (e.g., SAP) and strong data analysis skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
Remuneration : RM8,000.00 - RM12.000.00. Additional EPF on top the standard rate. Attractive performance bonus reward.
