Key Responsibilities
- Operate trucks, vans, or other vehicles to deliver and pick up products from various locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of products in accordance with scheduled routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, promoting safe driving practices.
- Assist in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and upkeep.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a logistics or delivery role preferred.
- Good knowledge of local and regional roadways.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
