Maintenance - at 3-star Hotel in Melaka & Kuching

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to routinely inspect and service hotel equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Ensure early detection of potential issues to avoid unexpected breakdowns or failures.
• Maintain records of completed maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with local, state, and national safety regulations, such as fire safety codes and health regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and resolve hazards.
• Maintain the property’s fire safety equipment and ensure proper functioning of smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits.

Qualifications :

• Minimum education : Diploma or equivalent (Basic engineering background).
• Training in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, or general maintenance can be beneficial.
• Experience in a maintenance role, particularly within the hospitality industry or a similar environment.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
• Ensuring that maintenance work meets safety and quality standards.
• Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and safety practices.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
