Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibility:

1. To ensure Porex safety rules & regulation (safety First) and Maintenance’s 6S are properly executed.
2. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor all assigned engineering projects.
3. Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
4. Assign responsibilities and mentor project team members.
5. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project leader and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
6. Responsible for improvement on reducing machine breakdown and increasing machine availability.
7. Provide engineering knowledge in support of operations to achieve machine realization, quality yield and process improvement
8. Troubleshoot and analyze technical issues and develop/implement corrective action and plans.
9. Plan and carry out routine scheduled maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
10. Liaising with suppliers, contractors and other engineering and production colleagues.
11. Proactively contribute to continuous improvement programs to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency, OEE in term of Output, Cost & Quality.
12. To ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of Facilities systems within organization.

Education & Knowledge Level:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering field.
2. At least 1 - 2 year of experience in related role. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
3. Experience in PLC programing (Preferable Allen-Bradley PLC).
4. Experience in Auto Cad, SolidWorks or other technical drawings.
5. Ability to work independently, strong leadership and organizational skills.
6. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
7. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignment simultaneously.
8. Preferably with LEAN manufacturing experience.
