Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of equipment automation and maintenance engineers responsible for production automation system and equipment maintenance.
• Manage and schedule preventive maintenance activities, to enable smooth production operation.
• Work with equipment engineers and production team to troubleshoot machines/equipment issues, to minimize impact on production operation.
• Lead production automation implementation project.
• Lead production equipment performance improvement project.
• Manage spare parts stock inventory, and spare parts purchasing strategy.
• Liaise with machine/equipment supplier/vendor, and external service/support engineers.
• Accountable for overall production equipment, machines, and automation performance.
• Work with a team of engineers to provide daily/weekly/monthly reports, collect data perform data analysis, and present updates/proposals to management.
• To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior / management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical engineering, Robotic and Automation Engineering, Electrical & Electronic engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years and above experience in managing a team of engineers responsible for production automation and equipment maintenance.
• Practical experience in production automation system development and implementation projects.
• Proven track record of driving production equipment performance improvement projects.
• Knowledge in computer usage, including AutoCAD drawing, email, PowerPoint presentation, Excel data analysis, and report writing.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and well-equipped with a multi-tasking ability.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
