Maintenance Planner

Responsible for the definition and implementation of effective maintenance plans in order to ensure required plant performance. Responsible for ensuring effective allocation of resources to enable maintenance plan attainment. Responsible for work order (WO) scoping, prioritisation, quality of work order detail, issuing of work orders, and the effective follow up and closing out of work orders. Responsible for the generation of accurate maintenance reports via the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Responsible for operating an effective maintenance Management Control & Reporting System (MCRS). Drives the implementation and sustainability of ISC Maintenance and Carlsberg Excellence Standards. Engages with regional ISC and Group maintenance teams to implement ISC standards.

Responsibilities

Management of the Work Order System

• Screening of WO’s generated.
• Scoping of WO requirements.
• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level with the input from Maintenance Managers.
• Manager work orders, documentation, and assets within the CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system).
• Ensuring EHS & Quality considerations are met in each WO.
• Effective planning of resource – parts, tools, people, skills and time allocation and the required level of detail.
• Follows up with maintenance team on job completion.
• Identifies any opportunities for improving the WI’s or WO’s.
• Ensures that WOs are closed out with the required quality of info by the engineering resource.
• Act as a superuser of CMMS System and train maintenance team on the proper use of Work Order Management System and CMMS.
• Coordinate plant-wide shutdowns to attain all essential schedules.
  
  

Work Order Backlog

• Ensures effective management of Maintenance Backlog.
• Ensures Backlog WO’s are scheduled into Maintenance Plans.
  
  

Maintenance Planning

• Engagement of appropriate stakeholder in maintenance planning.
• Coordinate daily as well as weekly planning meetings related with maintenance.
• Ensure generation and issuing of daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans.
• Ensure generation and issuing of overhaul plans.
• Uses ISC COM Standards to improve overhaul effectiveness, both duration compression & interval optimization.
• Management of master maintenance plans and master data within the CMMS system.
• Align between maintenance team and spare part store.
• Support department’s compliance to any Excellence or COM goals and objectives.
  
  

Communication

• Ensures appropriate info regarding maintenance planning is communicated to Maintenance Team.
• Maintain Effective communication with Packaging and Brewing Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Team.
  
  

Reporting and CMMS

• Ensures agreed maintenance reports are generated and issued in a timely manner.
• Ensures accurate calculation of maintenance KPIs.
• Ensures cost information is accurate within CMMS.
• Ensures Bill Of Materials are accurate within CMMS.
• Ensures master plans are up to date within the CMMS.
  
  

Improvements and Problem Solving

• Ensures improvement ideas are captured following job completion.
• Reviews improvement ideas with Maintenance Management team.
• Incorporates new ideas into work instructions and maintenance plans.
• Carries out data analysis using the CMMS and other relevant info.
• Leading and participating in various maintenance improvement projects.
• Supporting Carlsberg excellence development in the area of responsibility.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• With 3-5 years’ experience within a manufacturing/maintenance environment.
• Experience in using CMMS systems and IT literate.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritise.
• Experience of dealing with service contractor and spare parts suppliers.
• Experience of managing budgets.
• Experience of Lean/TPM/OpEx.
