M&E Engineer

Job Responsibility

Mechanical Design & Maintenance

â Design and develop machines for frozen food production (forming, wrapping, packaging machines)

â Troubleshoot mechanical issues on production equipment (mixers, conveyors, freezers)

â Perform mechanical maintenance and root cause analysis

Electrical Systems & Automation

â Design and install electrical control systems for production machinery

â Perform 3âphase electrical wiring and power distribution for industrial equipment

â Troubleshoot electrical problems including motor failures, sensor malfunctions, and power issues

â Maintain electrical panels, motor drives, and sensor systems

â Implement automation solutions to improve production efficiency

General Engineering

â Create technical drawings using CAD software for both mechanical and electrical designs

â Ensure all systems comply with food safety standards (HACCP/GMP) and electrical safety codes

â Support production team for both mechanical and electrical issues

â Coordinate with maintenance team on preventive maintenance schedules

Job Requirements

â Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering

 Experience: Â

â Minimum 2â3 yearâs experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering

â Experience in food manufacturing or frozen food industry

â CAD software proficiency (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) for mechanical design

â 3âphase electrical wiring and power distribution knowledge is an advantage

â Electrical troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment

â Understanding of foodâgrade materials, electrical safety standards, and temperature control

systems

â Strong problemâsolving and analytical skills

â Ability to work independently and in teams

â Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and EnglishÂ
