Job Description
Danfoss Climate Solutions is a global leader in delivering energy-efficient technologies and sustainable solutions for the HVAC and Building Solutions industries. As one of Danfoss' largest and most dynamic segments, we provide an extensive product portfolio serving residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

We are seeking a Sales Development Manager for Hydronics or Building Solutions in the Asia Pacific Region (APR) to drive profitable growth and strengthen our market position across key customer segments.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • In close collaboration with the business unit, lead business development initiatives to drive year-over-year profitable growth in the Asia Pacific region – targeting segments such as OEMs, contractors, consultants, and distribution channels.
  • Ensure alignment between the business unit and regional/local sales teams, supporting portfolio strategies and addressing specific regional sales needs.
  • Identify and evaluate high-potential sales leads through research and qualification, supporting the local sales teams to prioritize efforts.
  • Drive strategic focus across regional sales organizations by managing the opportunity pipeline, monitoring market trends, and coordinating new product introductions.
  • Act as the regional voice within the business unit for sales development input, supporting product roadmap planning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide valuable regional insights regarding customer requirements, competitive landscape, and growth obstacles to help shape business planning and product development.
  • Coordinate and support key sales processes in the region, including demand planning (monthly), rolling forecasts (quarterly), and strategic perspective planning (annually).
  • Escalate key barriers to growth and collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, and quality teams to address challenges.
  • Define and support regional market pricing strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with growth and profitability targets.

The Ideal Candidate Possesses These Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales or sales development role, preferably in building technologies, hydronics, or HVAC systems.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Strong market understanding and competitor awareness in the building solutions segment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
  • International mindset with the ability to travel as required.
  • Fluent in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
