Demand Forecasting and Planning:

• Lead a team of supply chain professionals in ensuring the Company has an accurate, reliable, and efficient flow of inventory to meet customers' demand.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to accurately predict product demand
• Effectively build the promotion uplifts and manage trend, seasonality with respect to the DFI Banner stores
• Collaborate with commercial, category and vendors to ensure timely availability of products
• Forecasting: Using data analysis and market trends to forecast demand for health and beauty products.
• Planning: Developing and implementing plans to ensure that supply meets demand, taking into account lead times and seasonal fluctuations.

Inventory Management:

• Stock Levels: Managing healthy inventory levels to ensure that there is enough stock to meet customer demand without overstocking.
• Inventory Turnover: Monitoring and optimizing inventory turnover rates to minimize holding costs and reduce the risk of obsolescence.
• Drive cross-functional inventory improvement taskforce / initiative.
• Lead development and implementation of inventory management strategies.

Cost Management & Analytics:

• Managing the supply chain budget, including costs associated with procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve process & efficiencies without compromising quality or service levels.
• Drive Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process & reporting.
• Managing the supply chain budget / KPI
• Develop analytical models / monitoring tools to effectively manage inventory.

Technology and Systems Management:

• Champion the adoption of AI technologies to optimize forecasting accuracy and inventory management.
• Collaborate with the supply chain director and IT teams to integrate AI forecasting tools into planning processes.
• Monitor and analyze forecasting models, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Technology Integration: Implementing and integrating new technologies to improve supply chain efficiency, such as AI, Control Tower & others Digital supply chain initiatives.

Process Improvement & Analytics:

• Drive initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reducing lead times and improving cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze supply chain metrics, generate actionable insights, and present findings to senior leadership.
• Ensure data-driven decision-making by utilizing AI insights for demand planning and replenishment.

Customer Service:

• Service Levels: Ensuring high service levels to meet customer expectations in terms of product availability and delivery times.
• Issue Resolution: Handling any supply chain issues that affect customer satisfaction, such as delays, shortages, or quality problems.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Team Management: Leading and managing the supply chain team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Coach, develop and build bench strength and organization capabilities and expertise in supply chain management.
• Continuous Improvement: Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team, focusing on process optimization and innovation.
• Upskill the team in leveraging AI tools for demand forecasting and inventory replenishment.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain function

Supplier Management:

• Create the supply planning in collaboration with supply partner and monitor inventory levels and adjust replenishment orders
• Drive engagement, joint forecasting & value-creation collaborations with suppliers
• Supplier Relationships: Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers

Do you have experience in Supply Chain Planning?

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and/or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a supply chain/demand planning role
• Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experienced in forecasting, data analytics, inventory planning, supply chain concepts, AI, statistical forecasting, and related processes
• Proficient in advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Tools
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and planning skills
• Programming & data science / engineering / visualisation skillsets such a Python, PowerBI are added advantages.
