Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative and driven Marketing Intern to support both content and marketing efforts across Hepmil Malaysia and MGAG. You’ll play a key role in elevating our LinkedIn presence through strong copywriting and design, while also assisting the content team with visual assets, editing, and ideation. If you're someone who enjoys both storytelling and design, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
Content Team Support (30%)
Assist the MGAG Malaysia team in:
- Editing memes, short-form videos, and visual content
- Designing thumbnails, social graphics, and meme templates
- Helping shoot or record short videos for online
- contentBrainstorming visual ideas or memes that align with current trends
LinkedIn Marketing & Brand Content (70%)
Develop and manage content for Hepmil Malaysia's LinkedIn page:
- Write engaging copy for posts related to media trends, company wins, case studies, or team culture
- Research and write short-form LinkedIn articles or content series that attract our target audience (marketing & media professionals)
- Design complementary visual assets (e.g., quote cards, stat graphics, branded visuals) using tools like Canva
- Ideate content that can increase followers, drive engagement, and build thought leadership for the brand
General Marketing Support
- Assist with copywriting for internal and external materials (e.g., event invites, emailers, simple ad captions)
- Help design basic marketing collaterals such as presentation decks, one-pagers, and banners
- Draft content for social or digital channels as needed, in collaboration with the Country Maanger
- Track performance of LinkedIn posts and assist in content planning based on analytics
Who We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, or a related field
- Good command of written English with a flair for clear and engaging copy
- Basic graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools
- Bonus: Knowledge of video editing tools like CapCut or Adobe Premier Rush
- Interested in content, media, trends, and LinkedIn as a professional branding platform
- Self-motivated and eager to contribute ideas proactively
