What You'll Do

As a Medical Information Specialist, your primary role will be to provide balanced, accurate, and non-promotional information to customers. You will handle calls professionally, manage queries effectively, and record all interactions accurately. Your ability to assimilate and communicate large volumes of medical information will be crucial in this role. You will also play a key part in promoting operational excellence within the team, maintaining product knowledge, supporting organizational changes, and ensuring compliance.

• Manage customer enquiries in a professional manner using predefined answers/resources
• Identify interactions containing adverse events and/or product quality complaints and handle these according to procedures
• Accurately record all interactions into the required database following Good Documentation Practices
• Escalate inquiries without predefined answers according to defined processes
• Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes and ensure optimal customer satisfaction
• Promote and maintain operational excellence by sharing effective methods with colleagues
• Integrate compliance into daily activities and cooperate with investigations, monitoring, and audits

The ideal candidate for the Medical Information Specialist role will bring a strong background in healthcare along with excellent communication skills. Your ability to listen actively and respond empathetically to customers will be key in this role. You should have demonstrated project time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards. • Mastery of written English and professional verbal skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare profession (medical, pharmacy or Nursing)
• Excellent active listening skills with effective verbal skills
• Good written skills for responding to customer queries succinctly, accurately, and objectively
• Demonstrated project time management skills and resilience under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills with flexibility in varying environments
• Ability to assimilate and communicate large volumes of medical information.
• High-level end-user computer skills (e.g., databases, word processing, tables and graphics, spreadsheets, presentations/PowerPoint, templates)
• Cognitive abilities including verbal reasoning, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving and analytical ability
