Job Description
- Develop MEP project plans aligned with overall goals and timelines.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.
- Oversee MEP design development and ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide expert guidance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ensure integration of MEP with CSA systems.
- Enforce quality assurance through audits and reviews.
- Manage design changes and assess project impacts.
- Prepare and control MEP budgets.
- Identify and mitigate MEP-related risks.
- Act as main contact for MEP coordination and communication.
- Monitor schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with codes, safety, and environmental standards.
- Plan and implement commissioning for all MEP systems.
- Oversee commissioning execution and verify system functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues.
- Prepare detailed commissioning and handover documentation.
- Train client teams on MEP system operation and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth final handover of fully operational MEP systems.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience
- 10 years in MEP industry, with experience managing large scale data center projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including design principles, construction methods, and materials
- Ability to identify issues proactively and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. Certifications:
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Chartered Engineer status are advantageous
