NOC Engineer

Position Summary

• To manage the company trouble-ticketing systems, provide incident reporting, service performance reporting and recording of spares inventory.

Job Responsibilities

• L1 & L2 Support; responsible for working in a 24x7 NOC, SOC environment.

• Network administration / operation support, network architecture and engineering design.

• Provide network troubleshooting and problem solution.

• Work with vendors or principles to support customers and resolve problems within given SLA.

• The candidate will also be responsible for network security, network performance monitoring and network reporting.

• Focusing on continuous upgrades in supporting processes, operating standard, and efficiency improvement.

• Responsible for incident and problem management.

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and providing high network availability.

Required Competencies

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advance / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering / IT (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent.

• CCNA & ITIL certified added as advantage.

• Understanding of IT Network fundamentals.

• Applicants must be willing to work in Klang Valley area and travel nationwide.

• Able to work in shifts.

• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

• Able to learn and train others quickly; able to apply new concepts quickly.

• Very good written communication skills, able to work independently, reliable.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with multitasking skills.

Good process management, especially on process improvement.
